Living well starts at home.
We partner with artisan makers around the world to bring you pieces that are beautiful to look at, honest in material, and built to last a lifetime.
Our founders in the studio
Two designers, one kitchen table, and an obsession with craft.
“We wanted the things in our home to feel like they had a story — not just a barcode.”
Havre started in 2016 when Clara Melin and James Okafor, two product designers disillusioned with fast-furniture, began sourcing direct from pottery studios and textile ateliers in Portugal, Japan, and Scandinavia. What started as a small Instagram account became something neither expected: a community of people who wanted to slow down and invest in beautiful, enduring things.
Today we work with over 150 maker partners across 22 countries. Every product is chosen by hand, tested in our own homes, and only listed when it meets our three criteria: honest materials, fair production, and genuine quality that improves with age.
Our values shape every decision.
From the makers we partner with, to the packaging we ship in, these commitments guide everything we do.

Growing with intention
Sustainability is not a feature — it's a foundation.
We believe that beautiful design and responsible production are not at odds. In fact, the most beautiful things tend to be made slowly, with care, and with future generations in mind. Here is how we put that into practice.
